2021 Aromatic Viognier
Tasting notes
Pale straw in color, this Viognier opens with aromas of tropical citrus and orange blossom with flavors of tangerine, mango and honeysuckle. The oak ageing adds complimentary notes of clove, nutmeg, smoky tequila and roasted nuts. This wine is dry, crisp and closes with a refreshing, citrus aftertaste.

Behind the Label (and the mural gracing our Tacoma tasting room)
The life of my grandfather and mentor, William Bitner Browne, serves as the inspiration for Browne Family Vineyards. To honor his legacy, I choose to create a scenic mural for the back bar of our Tacoma tasting room telling his story, now also featured on the labels of Browne Family Aromatic Wines. Artist Melanie Nead and I read through letters that my grandfather wrote to my grandmother and other documents about his life. Together we brought the story to life through Melanie's artistry.
