2021 Vineyard Collection Petit Verdot
Floral aromas of violets and rose petals lead to flavors of black plum, cassis, and leather. This is a full-bodied wine with enduring tannins and inky, rich color. Notes of dark chocolate and blackberries linger on the finish. This is a big wine and will overpower lots of food. If you must have food with this wine, try it with blue cheese, duck breast, venison and or elk.
Tasting notes
This wine shows incredibly concentrated dark purple hues. Aromas of black pepper and blueberries lead to flavors of oak, dark chocolate, and berry jam. On the palate, big yet round tannins build up for a finish of dark roast coffee and toasted oak.
